Boeing's CST-100 Starliner is a new space capsule that is being developed in collaboration with NASA's Commercial Crew Program. The spacecraft is designed to ferry astronauts to and from the International Space Station. The CST-100 is a cone-shaped capsule with a diameter of 16.5 feet and a height of 15 feet. It is made of lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum and has a capacity of seven astronauts. The CST-100 is launched into space by a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket.
The CST-100 is equipped with a variety of advanced features, including a state-of-the-art avionics system, a high-resolution camera system, and a robotic arm. The spacecraft also has a life support system that can sustain astronauts for up to six months. The CST-100 is designed to be reusable, and it is expected to make multiple trips to the International Space Station.
